Sapphic Autumn Fantasy and Romance TBR
My Sapphic September reads were so great and fun that I decided to extend the theme and turn my fall into a Sapphic Autumn! While I normally do read only sapphic contemporary romances (with an occasional gay one here and there), when it comes to romantasy and fantasy, I enjoy and consume all identities. But, this autumn, I’m only focusing on girls who kiss girls (and yes, enby’s count to me!) while taking down regimes, riding dragons, or even just surviving an embarrassing meet-cute in the local bookstore.
Because honestly, nothing beats reading about queer girls kissing or fighting governments together and then refusing to kiss until everyone is very frustrated and annoyed by the slow burn and then finally they fucking do it. I have a ton more on my list, a list that will forever be growing, but I wanted to narrow it down to ten books (so one per week) that I'm most excited to get into.
It took me a few days to get this list together even with the “leftovers” of Sapphic September because I kept struggling to narrow it down and choose only a few from my piles of sapphic books, but I think I have a great list for the season, now! While I am a mood reader at my core, I wanted to focus my selection on a list of ten books for the upcoming ten weeks of the season, reading based on my mood and only choosing from these books.
